Centenary Week Celebrations
15 June to 23 June 2013
A large marquee, with removable sides with tables and chairs, will be erected on the Croquet/Putting Lawn for the whole week.
This will be used for all events, combined with Club catering/bar service. All the weeks events will be subsidised from the Centenary Fund in the hopes that as many members as possible, of all ages, will support and enjoy them.
SATURDAY 15 June 2013 :
Captain's day competition from 7.30am.
Evening BBQ and Dancing to Live Group in the Marquee.
SUNDAY 16 June 2013 :
Junior/Beavers competition from 11am
Plus Kids Family Fun Day from 1pm.
Followed by BBQ – Burgers, Chicken Sausage etc and ‘mini disco’ ‘til 8pm
Side Shows– Bouncy Castle, Coconut shy, Crockery smash etc.
MONDAY 17 June 2013 :
Seniors Event from 10am
Competition with invited guests from other Clubs playing in the Matches.
Followed by Buffet/Hot luncheon/Carvery or Dinner, in the Marquee.
TUESDAY 18 June 2013 :
WEDNESDAY 19 June 2013 :
6 Day and Midweek Members Comp. Possibly followed by Hog Roast/BBQ/Carvery from 2pm to 8pm.
THURSDAY 20 June 2013 :
Ladies Competition from 9.30am.
Special Comp. followed by Evening Dinner with speaker, in the Marquee.
FRIDAY 21 June 2013 :
4 Ball (Any combination) 9 or 14 hole ‘Roll-Up’ from 2pm.
Followed by bar snacks/basket meals in the Marquee.
SATURDAY 22 June 2013 :
Men's Competition from 7.30am
Evening Mixed Dinner in the Marquee with Speaker and/or Music.
SUNDAY 23 June 2013 :
Mixed Shotgun Competition 9am
Followed by Full Buffet Luncheon/Tea in the Marquee.
Possibly ‘old fashioned’ dress will be requested for this event! Be warned!!!
