D'Oyly Carte Trophy
A Mixed Foursomes Stableford Competition. This cup was presented by the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company who used to play at SGC whenever they performed in Manchester. The trophy was presented in 1930 and first played for in 1931.
The winners and runners up are entered in the final of the Hoylake Trophy.
Note – Entry Fee is £12 per couple. £10 of this goes to the North West Cancer Research Fund.

The Peace Trophy was originally called the Philip Smith Peace Trophy and was probably started in 1919 although the 1st record of it is in 1922. The Scratch Prize is the only competition when the major prize is won off a scratch handicap.
