The Club is able to offer several categories of membership for men - 5, 6 or 7 days. Membership Enquiry Pack
Main competitions day is Saturday, mid-week competitions are held on Wednesdays
Extensive fixture list offered throughout year
Inter-club matches with Mersey League Golf Clubs - Sale 1st and Sale 2nd teams
Participation in Dunham Forest Trophy and Manchester Alliance competitions
Friendly informal inter-club matches for Seniors

The Club is also able to offer different categories of membership for ladies Membership Enquiry Pack
Main competition day is Thursday (the tee being reserved from 8:45am until 2:00pm with priority on every tee between 2:00pm to 3:00pm and after 4:00pm)
Alternative competition day is Sunday after 11:00am
Ladies are permitted to play on Saturdays (1/2 hour after the last group of men playing in their competition) and on Bank Holidays after 11:00am
Inter-club matches in East Cheshire Shield - Sale "A" and Sale "B"
Participation in Manchester & District LGA Bell Cup and Elizabeth Wilson Scratch Shield
During the winter months, friendly Bridge Drives take place on Tuesdays.

Junior (both boys and girls) - "Beavers" aged 6-9 years and "Juniors" aged 10-17 years. Membership Enquiry Pack Sale Golf Club is one of only four Cheshire "Juniors Starter Centers" and with the support of the Golf Foundation, offer "Summer School" for juniors and local primary schools. Regular coaching sessions for both Beavers and Juniors are held on Sundays mornings. Inter-club matches with other Mersey golf clubs and also take part in Derbyshire and Cheshire Junior Knockout competition.
