The Professional's shop is at
the heart of many of the golfing activities here at Sale Golf Club.
It plays an active part in the day-to-day running of the golf course
and is often the first point of contact for the visiting golfer Our resident Professional Mike Stewart has been at Sale since 1991. He and his team of assistants always do their utmost to ensure you receive the best possible advice and service. The shop is open 364 days of the year and is packed full of the best known brands & latest equipment. Whilst Sale is a private club, the shop and the services available therein are all open to non-members. Mike is a member of Foremost, a buying group of 230 Professionals nationwide, who use their central buying power to make sure that you, the customer, get the best possible price on all your favourite makes. The shop is a major stockist of Callaway, Titleist, Ping & Taylor Made clubs; Adidas, Footjoy, Etonic & Hi Tech shoes, and clothing from Lyle & Scott, Nike, Pro Quip, Ashworth & Midas. The choice of top quality brands is mouth-watering. As befits such an established and traditional Golf Club, the team in the Pro shop offer all the services you would expect, including the skills needed to repair and maintain your golf equipment, which have been learnt over many years and 90% of the work is done in-house. The benefit of good coaching has been well documented in the press over the last decade, with the best players in the world giving much of the credit for their success to their teachers. So, it goes without saying that the average player would surely also benefit from some expert tuition. Mike has been teaching golfers of all standards for over 25 years. With this amount of experience behind him, there is not much that he hasn't seen!! With a choice of conventional one-to-one instruction, group lessons or video tuition there is something for everyone. In addition to running a busy Pro shop, Mike has recently taken on the role of 'Golf Manager'. This entails looking after the bookings for the first tee.
